It goes way back to our grandparents and their way of treating their children, our fathers. I think this is case of getting psychological help. She said that she has little contact with her parents for obvious reasons. Her mother divorced her father, in her opinion, possibly as a sort of apology. She finally released this video after her father harassed her over the phone. At release he didn't know this video existed. Surprise mother fucker!

ReplyDeleteTo add to my comment, I am a social worker and I work with batterers and victims of domestic violence. In almost half the cases where the wife is beaten, the children are beaten as well. Let me be clear, the wife was emotionally abused by Judge Adams. There is an entire level of dynamics in an abusive relationship that few understand unless they have been in an abusive relationship themselves. The mother deserves little of the blame for beating her child in this case. If you notice, the wife takes the belt from her husband and then beats the daughter instead of going to get her own belt. One reason she may have participated in the beating of her child is because HER beating would have been much less severe than Judge Adams's beating. Notice her beating of her daughter was not nearly as severe. She hit her daughter just enough times to satisfy the Judge...until he went and got his own belt.

It is true that Syria and N.K. are big problems. Let us divide our attention and resources as needed. Judge Adams is not an isolated phenomenon. Our own countries are filled with narcissists, rapists, rage-a-holics, child beaters, pimps, dope dealers (I don't mean YOU, Pedro, just the vicious ones). As we help Anons in their countries' struggles for liberty, let's look to our own neighborhoods as well.
What is needed is a database for all Anons, listing all verified criminal people that we actually don't like. This calls for some dedicated social workers and geeks to make sure that the potential targets are not just girlfriends and boyfriends or parents that somebody is pissed off at. There needs to be at least one good report to prove harmful criminal intent--not necessarily a legal report, a good video or series of their threatening messages would do the trick.
Like, I know this illegal immigrant MILF married to a narcissistic American family, that treats her like a slave--and not in a fun way. They're really mean people, and are enjoying all the money she makes cleaning toilets sixteen hours a day, seven days a week. They don't let her sleep in the off hours, either--that's when she has to take care of their selfish desires. If she complained for being called "devil bitch whore" as they refer to her in text messages to her (woo! 21st century slavery is awesome!), they threaten her with deportation and separation from her children. I don't want to see these people go to counseling. I want them to find their credit card numbers and personalities stolen REPEATEDLY, I want their names to appear on BAD CHECK lists, I want them to be confronted by security at Wal-Mart for thefts they didn't actually commit. I want fake warrants for their arrest to appear on city police computers. I want them to explode in rage, get savagely beaten by the cops and by people in county jail, have strokes, and be paralyzed from the neck down.
Funny how none of my quadriplegic friends actually deserved what happened to them.

Update on the story I found on Youtube.com on Today Show. It mentions that he's left Rockport for now. They suggest he will return, though. I think he could have been trying to legitimately discipline, but it's extreme and I think it is wrong the type of language they are using and the method. He's obviously creepy with his own power and this does not seem the best way to make your point and it is humiliating. He's probably made her a kinky grown women. And she's still obviously pissed. In the interview, she said this type of thing was a regular occurrence at that point- that's how she knew to set up the camera. It speaks to me more about a fucked up culture that created this episode.

ReplyDeletehow is it that a parent like that gets to keep contact with his child just because he is a judge? i will not lie at one point in time i made mistakes and lost my child (much more minor. such as a minor drug offence) and have had to jump through hoops for almost two years to even hope to have contact again. this is emotional and phisical abuse and with control issues like that i really wonder whats going on that was not caught on cam... i have worked hard to become a better person and i cannot understand how something this extreme can take place. i went through the same as a child and more. the traumatic resonence that will reside with this girl will most likely be even more crippling then the challenges she already faces. i know that there is a polite and politically correct way to deal with him but my sincerest hope are that this man feels the way i did at the begining of my journey where i honestly believed Seppuku was my only option. though in truth i dont think he even deserves that privilidge of doing it himself... from a humble mother that has learned from her mistakes i wish this corrupt man burns for what hes done and the guilt that fails him i hope comes tenfold.

Living in west texas myself... My grandparents were probably treated like this by their parents, my parents were whipped, but not as bad as the ones before, me and my brother were disiplined with a belt, but not harshly.

I feel that spanking is not abuse, but beating 18 lashes with a belt is. Some of the problems we have now in our schools is because there is NO discipline at home. If there were, kids would respect their parents and other people. Less crime too.
Don't get me wrong, I don't agree AT ALL with the way this situation was handled. She didn't deserve that. What harm was she even causing???? Downloading music? Then I guess we all should be beat for that one.
Some people should not be allowed to have kids. I hope that his rights are taken from their other daughter that way she would not be put in this situation where he thinks he can "discipline" his daughter that way!!

I was married for 7years with 2kids and we lived happily until things started getting ugly and we had fights and arguments almost every time... it got worse at a point that she filed for divorce... When she asked her school teacher to help because she was afraid, and his conviction was thrown out, the teacher quit her job and now works for the man's money. I was beaten like this on and off for much of my childhood. Often times, I had done nothing to deserve the beatings. I am 37 and have healed from it, but I had many problems in my adulthood. I couldn't form normal relationships, I had a tendency to attract destructive people and was depressed and at times suicidal throughout adulthood. Childhood trauma stays well into adulthood. it took a lot of therapy and spiritual work to get over this. I'm cool with my parents now, but I only see them about 3 days a year and I couldn't speak to them in my twenties. To this day, they don't even realize they did anything wrong.

He has been back to work sense mid to early December, judging family matters. There has been more recent releases of credit numbers and what not but all are changed fast, due to him knowing. I guess the authorities there only see it as a misdemeanor. In my State, Wisconsin, this would have been a felony. After seeing the Today Show interview you will see she is now all grown up and OK and lets face it, she waited for 7 years to bring it up. I am a retired, duty disabled Deputy Sheriff and during my 22 years I would have loved to have gotten this video on a call from a girl like this if it had been made in a timely manner. I loved arresting loud mouthed people who liked to beat weaker or helpless people. Being a judge would have just been frosting on the cake to us.
--- I do find it disturbing that the Texas disciplinary board did not remove this judge from his bench though. Clearly he was out of control and not in any position to pass judgement on the actions of others without a conflict of interest any more. I certainly would be talking to my attorney if I was going before this loser for anything.
--- However as i stated the victim is all grown up now and OK and for her, if she wanted it, the best form of retribution would be to sue her father in civil court for what would really hurt him: taking his money away. If the case is true to its complainant then a jury would likely award punitive damages as well as damages for humiliation and withholding of love, etc, etc.
--- I read about the claims that "anonymous" is here to take on the government agencies, etc. , but I wonder...doesn't anonymous notice that they are simply taking the place of those government agencies they are complaining about???
ReplyDelete--- The only difference is that they are removing it from a government forum that can be forced or pried open in the courts to an anonymous bunch of hackers who make their decisions secretly and without oversight of any kind AND use the threat of cyber attacks on anyone who disagrees.
--- I don't see that as being any better than the government employees that abuse the system and in fact is worse because the Anon people are...well, Anonymous. I mean who polices the anonymous people when they abuse their powers?
--- Who spanks Anonymous when some day they attack an innocent person irrevocably by placing all his information on the net for all to see? What safe guards are in place to try and prevent such an error? And why is that any better than dealing with the police, the courts, the government agencies and or government lackeys themselves?
--- At least with an abusive cop or a bad judge or abusive politicians we can use the system itself to go after them. No, I don't think I agree with anonymous at all in their actions regarding things like the "take the Block" protests. Or their threats to "out" the personal information of individual officers or government workers. In that regard anonymous is WORSE than the police or the government agencies. Even when cops get physically abusive I think anonymous is wrong to take the law into their own hands. Outing the action itself by posting a video is righteous enough, but becoming the judge and jury by posting embarrassing info or personal info about the officer online is putting themselves into the same position as the bad cop, taking matters into their own hands just as he did.
--- On the other hand anonymous may have a niche in situations like getting attention drawn to things that the new entertainment people won't give any time to. Perhaps if anonymous was around during the "ethnic cleansing" in Africa or other locations that the media ignored there would have been enough outrage by the public to have MADE/FORCED the UN to act.
--- So I think anonymous has a place, but I think they have to be VERY VERY careful; as to what that place is and when to use it. The perfect place is bringing light onto subjects the news entertainment people won't show.News isn't really news anymore in that News Broadcasts now are forced by channel owners to support their segments just like the sitcoms and soaps have to. Thus they now have to cater to the popular views and "newsie" stories people "like" to see, NOT the real news happening. Its all about ratings now. Nothing like the days of Edward R Murrow & Walter Cronkite when the news were simply considered a paid item that didn't have to make the ratings or be "popular."
--- IN that area the anonymous hackers could be exactly what is needed. I have wondered why anonymous does not extort the media moguls into making "real" news again. In that they would definitely have my vote. If they would get the news media to do their jobs a lot of these issues would not require their attentions.
--- And while I am at it, why did anonymous go after PayPal? Do you realize that in making those papers public they actually outed several under cover sources of information in totalitarian countries and governments? That some may have even been assassinated because of it? THAT is what blindly releasing secrets can do
--- Anonymous has a place out there...but it also has a high potential for abuse and very little potential for public oversight, so I think it serves a purpose but also serves itself. I hope they are very circumspect about their attacks on individuals in the future because they could very easily become the very bad guys they profess to hate.
Someone destroy this fuckface's life... Anonymous destroy his credit, SS, legal record, etc. This fucker needs to be made an example of. I will relearn my old teenage ways and do it myself if nothing is done.

I've had my fair share of the belt, and yes I do think there are some kids that need a couple licks of their own. But this man was totally out of line, he passed the thin line of discipline and abuse. I hope for the worst for this man.
