Police flee London rioters: video not shown by the BBC

  1. BBC has shown this video. Incredible, nonetheless.

  2. This was also made by those chavs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=327J3ISiVOU&feature=share

  3. this video is now being shown on BBC1 and BBC News Channels. It has been repeated nearly three times in the last 10 minutes.

  4. Why celebrate this? These people aren't fighting an oppressive regime they're just scum attacking normal people's homes and businesses. It's only a shame the police don't move up a gear and employ tear gas and water cannons.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I am happy that people are pissed enough to act, but I'm disappointed that this was the result. Don't attack small businesses and people's homes--that's just mindless. At least target the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  6. The London riots are misguided and shouldn't be celebrated. The importance of this particular video being on the AnonOps blog is to show what we are capable of. Power in numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Why post this here? This has 0 todo with what anonymous stands for. It might have started with people standing up against police brutality... but at this point it is just random violence, setting fire to buildings of innocent people, looting from stores owned by innocent people, stealing from innocent people. These people are fucking idiots and most of them now are just in it because the like to riot, not because they have any goal with it.

  11. It's called a catalyst that guy being shot flipped the breakers on all the people protesting back in January and they lost it now they just wanna see the all in ashes...there is no excuse for these actions but it must be understood that this is a repercussion to social neglect....the people of North London have spoken out many times and it fell on deaf ears.....what they are doing isn't right but there is only so much someone can take till they snap.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Please delete this video. It gives visitors of this page a wrong impression of what Anonymous stands for.
The incidents in London are no fight against a corrupt, antisocial regime, its the old fight black vs white. Its right that the disadvantaged people in the suburbs should stand up for their rights, but whats going on now has nothing to do with it. The organised crime abused the peaceful protests on thursday.

At the moment, Anonymous should stay away from the Tottenham-happenings, this cannot be an Anonymous operation.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Nothing noble about what's happening in London, just a bunch of people being dicks.
Granted, said dickery is probably a result of them being the victims of social neglect but it's still no justification.

    ReplyDelete
  14. that's not "fleeing" that's a withdrawal. big difference. fleeing is trying to escape/running away. those police are leaving in an orderly fashion.
i would love to see how many of those bottom feeders would be able to do the same.

what's happening in London is just random violence. The repercussions are going to hang around for a long time. All they have done is justify peoples fears and give the government all the ammunition it needs to do just about anything to prevent it happening again.

    ReplyDelete
  15. they allow the government to send them to another continent.
I am surprised why this video is here, just next to matches in Israel and operation occupy wall street
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!
in my opinion there is a mistake, the huge one

    ReplyDelete
  16. For those who say this is without cause, that's your opinion which alot of people don't agree with. The tension of this has been building for a long time, ask any middle/lower class family in England.

Being given an allowance is what it's like, you don't work for your money anymore, you work to give them money and have a small part of it handed back to you.

This has a cause, people go the wrong way about it. Maybe instead of alot of Anon insighting more hatred they should help the cause?

It comes down to people now find it socially acceptable to justify their violence with rioting. Stop bitching and try and help them justify what they are fighting for.

Seems like it's happening all over again, the goverment will help every other fucker but their own, and now the anons will do the same.

Get the fuck off your moral high horses and help your own.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Can anonymous hack the BBM network and support the police in getting some of these idiots who are rioting?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Fuck off, those are all kids between 15-21 rioting. They are unemployed little scumbags, they don't pay taxes or have anything taken from them by the government.

The man who was shot by the police was shot because he SHOT A POLICEMAN. That's just, not police brutality.

Also, the BBC have shown this video multiple times.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The riots are about greed and self-interest, the exact opposite of the social revolutions anonymous supports around the world.

Thus, anonymous should denounce the london riots, and should invest its efforts to helping to prevent these mindless thugs from terrorising communities, homes and small businesses.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The media and politicians seem surprised at these riots and everyone is blaming them on yobs. But yobs are created by social policy over years and given the economic and social policies pursued by the British Government what the hell did anyone expect except yobbery and thuggery?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Greatest mistake is to post this video without explaining why this video is here. Add a description or delete it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. These guys are robbing and harming other people in self-interest. They abuse a peaceful demonstration. This has nothing to do with Anonymous!

    ReplyDelete
  23. The guy who was shot didn't shoot a policeman. Check the news. The bullet in the police radio was from the same gun which shot the man. People will use this as a short term justification for the violence.

Long term, the social standards in lower class areas of the UK, especially London, are seriously below par. Yes, the rioters and looters are doing this for fun, and out of greed, but the fact that the feel they can and need to, just reinforces the negative implications of such a wide class divide.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Please delete this!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. the true Anon know the rioting is a product of the current shitsandwich system in which society is kept... the rioters are dumb

    ReplyDelete
  26. You bunch of idiots...THUGGERY is exscusable..this shooting wasn't the reason opportunist cunts bided there time and struck..these ppl just love causing havoc.

  27. Vi uma noticia de que a Scotland Yard vai postar as fotos dos suspeitos no Flickr, se possivel derrubem esses caras para que os dedo duro não ajudem a policia a encontrar os manifestantes.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't know if you should delete this video necessarily, it just needs some narration provided to show Anon's view of what's going on. Power in numbers is INCREDIBLE. It is a force that should be expected, but NOT TO RUIN SMALL BUSINESSES AND PEOPLES' HOMES! RIOTERS SHOULD BE TARGETING THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM, NOT THEIR INNOCENT BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This whole UK rioting is just a bunch of uncultured swine using the death of a gangster as an excuse to loot and get free shit. Please, don't support it. It's nothing like the middle eastern riots.

  36. I WANT THE TRUTH!!! I WANT PEACE AND FREEDOM!!! FUCK POLITICS!!! ECUADOR NEEDS YOU!!!

  37. WTF does this video have to do with anything, you douchebag poseurs

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's okay to be angry with current situations and politics, but it is irrational and mindless to burn small businesses and destroy homes of the innocent. We, and those whom consider themselves Anonymous, must focus on using our energy to inspire change POSITIVELY and JUSTLY, for it may not be long before riots like this hit our communities too.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The BBC reported that the bullet that hit the officer's radio was from a police H&K and that preliminary tests show that Mark Duggan's gun was not fired.

Although his death is unfortunate, this kind of unorganized random robbing out of greed isn't something that deserves the attention it's getting. Citizens all across London should allow the police to carry on a proper investigation instead of putting lives in danger.

There are numerous reasons to revolt and riot but this isn't one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. "This site is only dedicated to reporting news about Anonymous."

and so, why this video is here ?

    ReplyDelete
  41. so hard to stop it now
those kids are playing the government's game

    ReplyDelete
  42. IMHO There is no connection between economic/social policy or class divides in England with what is happening in London right now. I speak as a 25yo British expat living in Japan since March this year.
England has a problem: people are not encouraged to help each other locally, and by that I mean more than just building community centers for "the other guys". People no longer communicate with their neighbors, society as a whole prioritizes the wrong things. Why are supposedly lower-class families walking around in designer sportswear with £300+ mobile phones? Why are those same people buying sports cars and wasting money on upgrading them in a country dominated by roundabouts and pedestrian crossings?
Despite peoples' complaints the benefit system is very generous and if you are genuinely seeking employment serves it's purpose well. Availability of further and higher education is fantastic considering that the cost can be loaned and never paid back.
England and it's people have it very well off. The suggestion that some live in poverty is aggravated by English people's expectation to have a certain standard of living that includes luxurious items like skincare products, smartphones, HDTVs, game consoles, and designer handbags/shoes.
Living in a foreign country has made me very humble and meeting people from all over the world I have come to realise that English people complain, drink, and fight (verbally and physically) too much. This video in itself is not indicative of anything righteous or significant, only that people lazily attribute extreme activity to some sort of invisible struggle or political significance.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Not projecting my opinion on Anonymous, just judging on comments here (and elsewhere) - it's probably fair to say Anonymous disagrees with riots for selfish reasons, attacks on small businesses, violence against innocent people and directly terrorising your own neighbourhood for the sake of greed.

As such, Anonymous should not be regarded as condoning or supporting the London riots.

If the reasons were political, if the targets were those responsible for collectively causing people misery - I'm sure we'd all feel a lot different... but it's not - it's mindless juvenile thugs who don't even care who's business it is that they target or who lives above the shops they are burning to the ground.

As for the police, they've shown great restraint. They do have weapons to deal with this more effectively but they know there are kids involved in the rioting and are trying to avoid use of heavy handed tactics unless absolutely necessary. If this was the "land of the free", the body count would probably be escalating by now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I wasn't a gigantic fan of Anonymous before, but posting this video onto your site confirms my belief; you guys are a bunch of delinquent juveniles who just want to rebel against 'authority'. The riots in London are nothing to celebrate, it's humanity at it's worst.

  49. Der Spiger wrote about images like from Mogadishu. That`s descraceful for UK. Multiculti has failed. These rioters are exactly what anonimous fights against - greed culture of consumerism - not to wprk, not do do anythink - take money from others - banksters from the goverment, these thugs from benefits - they do not want to work. The same - they still our money - both. Call the army and kill them all. banksters and this yobs.

  50. @22.32 .. Maybe you should read the opinions of the Anons reacting to this video before you make an assumption about the collective. You'd then realise most people here are against the rioters. In fact, your comment immediately follows a comment that highlights that fact. You need to learn to get all the facts before making a snap-judgement and a good starting place is to actually read comments.

@0:06 .. Religion!=morality: child-fucking cases, the crusades and US politicians using the story of a sky-fairy to manipulate people to support a radical-corporatist agenda shows us that much.

@1:47 .. Use a different ident and IP... something you should be doing anyway numbnuts!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Surely annonymous can act against the rioters? its not like we dont have the capabilities to name and shame the faces of those on cctv footage, perhaps they live on your street, you went to their school, or are even their teacher. You dont have to go to the police. You can name them to anonymous, and let everyone know what they have done. There are some disgusting things being done by people, and they dont seem to realise that they are not acting anonymously, and its more than the police that can find them

    ReplyDelete

  60. Yes the rioting is sad; however, people will only take so much and when the community as a whole gets fed up they begin to act for better or worse. (The same story has been the birth of many a revolution and government overthrow.) They may not be suffering like the poor in the third world but they still know they are suffering and that they are getting shafted by the minority that holds the wealth from the majority. This reuters article is fairly interesting:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/08/10/us-britain-riots-austerity-idUSTRE77953X20110810

"Spending cuts were now hitting the poorest hardest, they said, and after tales of politicians claiming excessive expenses, alleged police corruption and bankers getting rich it was their turn to take what they wanted [ID:nL6E7J91RM].

"They set the example," said one youth after riots in the London district of Hackney. "It's time to loot.""

When people feel they have been getting looted their inhibitions towards joining in are most definitely lowered!

Some of the most opposed to violence at the beginning of the French Revolution turned out to be some of the most bloodthirsty by the end. It was the same story: People were hungry and the nobles and clergy lived the high life then a bad winter hit to make it worse and a long reign of bloodlust began! Props to the citizens the article said began to police their own neighborhoods!! Probably a far more respectable bunch than the police!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Do not forget, Anon is open to all members to post whatever they please, this could be the opinion of one man/women who thinks the riots are a good idea, not the Anon group as a whole.

    ReplyDelete
  62. This doesn't belong here.They are not Anonymous.Anonymous doesn't stand for violence.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I learned today that Anon doesn't exist. It's an idea. Watch the splitting factions of purists and wannabes on Twitter and blogs like this. I agree in principle, but now you have unnamed people working in Communications. It's like Lenin, shaking his head at Stalin. Watch Out, Anon. The Devil within is what is going to kill you.

    ReplyDelete
  64. posting this here is just inappropriate at best, as a brit myself to see my fellow countrymen responsible for so much needless carnage for what was at first a worthy cause but now just an excuse for kids to smash wondows and steal TVs. its discusting

    ReplyDelete
  65. I think that we can all agree that Anonymous DOES NOT AGREE with the loss of human lives and destruction of innocent peoples' belongings, as it goes against what Anonymous stands for. Anonymous does not support this irrational violence.

    ReplyDelete
  66. So looting other shopkeepers struggling to make a living is justified???!!! Absolute fucking hypocrites who say "They set the example by looting us poor people." Middle class shopkeepers did not fucking loot the poor. A bunch of nutburger motherfuckers that want something for nothing and latch on to a fucked up excuse. The world fucking HATES this and if Anonymous supports this then the world fucking HATES Anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Both parties are wrong... Protesters are just aggressive scum by attacking and burning down shops and houses.... Police is surprisingly racist

    ReplyDelete
  68. another form of censorship... endless loops of misguided protest and behaving riot police. Easy fix to this kind of censorship... outnumber the violent retards with more and more peaceful protestors. This way the cause is not completely lost. London assume this video is government propaganda, ask what the cause is/was and join (peacefully) if they agree.

  71. i support the protesters, because they are atleast fight to stand for their freedom agaist the system. the cencorship of social network i think is rediculious but it might cause more people fighting against there leaders.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Even a few images of destruction are enough to turn down sympathy and support from the kind of people Anonymous wants to attract to their (our) cause. Especially so when the targets, such as local businesses, are not related to the original source of aggression the protest is supposed to be against. Destroying shops and burning civilian cars has nothing to do with opposing the government and the police, and does great harm to Anonymous' appeal to the society.

Anonops - I believe it's of utmost importance to distance yourselves from actions such as these. Put up a caption that makes it crystal clear you do not support needless destruction and arson. Anonymous fights against oppression and injustice, they do not wreak havoc upon innocents. Show it to the world.

And, i still dont understand why the riots? Does anyone really know what is the reason of the protest?

    ReplyDelete
  79. The videos point lies in the caption. At first the video was hidden from the public. This goes against what anomymous stands for. They stand for freedom of speech, withholding the video is violating an inalienable right and diminishing a serious cause. Not supporting or against. Just spreading the word.

  82. WHEN YOU SHOOT A POLICE OFFICER, EXPECT TO BE SHOT!!!!!!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE START A RIOT BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID REASON! IT'S NOT POLICE BRUTALITY, IT'S COPS DEFENDING THEMSELVES AGAINST SOME GUY WHO SHOT AT THEM!

    ReplyDelete
  83. This video is open to interpretation, but what I see is a civilized country on the verge of barbarism, in my opinion, you should not direct your anger at the police or the rioters, but at those who have intentionally created this situation with the intent of weakening the West (in this case). Once Western societies devolve into CHAOS, the puppet master will in all likelihood appear - presenting himself as the savior, and will attempt to take full control of the world. They know that multi-culti is going to fail in a big way, that is why they insisted upon it. Some think they are pursuing a noble goal with the multi-culti stuff, but the originators know better. They have read their history books and know that the human race has not undergone any major modifications that would allow anything else to happen than what is happening now. Hopefully Anonymous turns out to really be a force against tyranny, because we are going to need one.
